Hanok Stay is built in an unique architectural style with natural wood, Giwa tile roof and built in the same stone shape as the old Hanok house.  Most are made on the ground with beautiful scenery and according to the Besanimsu principle.  Due to the constantly changing climate of Korea, Hanok Stay Houses are also designed with a mechanism to keep warm and cool the air naturally, bringing comfort to people living here.

Hanok traditional houses certified by the Korea National Administration of Tourism, stretching from North to South such as Bukchon (Seoul), Andong (Gyeongsangbuk-do), Gyeongju (Gyeongsangbuk-do) and Jeonju (Jeollabuk-do), etc…

Hanok Stay House is expanded with 3 different types of accommodation in terms of historical characteristics and comfort levels, including: Gotaek and Jongtaek house, Hanok style guesthouse and traditional Korean hotels.

1- Gotaek and Jongtaek House

Particularly,Jongtaek and Gotaek houses built in the style of traditional Hanok houses and recognized by the Korean government as cultural heritage.  Both these sites are works of cultural and historical value and are protected by the Law on Protection of Cultural Property.

2- Hanok style guesthouse

Compared to Jongtaek and Gotaek houses, Hanok style guesthouse do not have as long a historical value, but they are also built on the basis of traditional architecture combined with modern, besides providing convenient services.  Other benefits for visitors to experience the daily life of the most authentic Korean indigenous people, the cost is also reasonable.

3- Korean traditional hotel

Traditional Korean hotel is developed in the style of Hanok Stay House but is elaborately built and arranged with more amenities to serve mainly commercial purposes.  However, in order to be considered for operation, it is necessary to ensure that the external criteria must be in Hanok style, and the internal guest services must be arranged systematically.
