The research team wants to point out that surgery is safe for obese elderly people and that it may be beneficial for them.
A team of researchers from Imperial College London Diabetes Center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) evaluated the results of 22 patients who had undergone weight loss surgery over age 65.
